Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with maintaining different prices across their online store and physical POS locations, MultiPrice: Custom POS Pricing is the clear choice. Its focus on streamlined pricing management makes it ideal for retailers who need to adjust prices based on location-specific factors without complex workarounds. However, if the primary concern is controlling customer access, verifying customer identity, and limiting who can see prices and 'Add to Cart' buttons, then Singleton | Verify Customers is the better solution. It's more suited to wholesale businesses, subscription services, or any merchant that requires a gated storefront.
Common Questions
Can MultiPrice be used to hide prices from certain customers, similar to Singleton?
No, MultiPrice focuses on setting different prices based on location (POS vs. online), not based on individual customer accounts or tags. It doesn't offer customer-specific price visibility controls.
Does Singleton offer POS-specific pricing features like MultiPrice?
No, Singleton's features are centered around customer verification and access control, and it does not offer any POS-specific pricing functionalities.
Is MultiPrice suitable for B2B stores?
While not explicitly designed for B2B, MultiPrice could be indirectly used if your B2B customers consistently purchase through a specific POS location, allowing you to set special pricing for that 'location'. However, Singleton is better suited for dedicated B2B use cases requiring customer verification.
Can Singleton send automatic discounts after verifying the customer?
The provided data doesn't state automatic discount capabilities. It focuses on controlling customer access to prices and 'Add to Cart' buttons, but not on dynamically applying discounts.
Which app is easier to set up and manage on a daily basis?
MultiPrice is likely easier to manage because it focuses on a smaller set of features: primarily price adjustments based on location. Singleton, with its customer verification, custom registration forms, and access control rules, would require more ongoing management.
