MultiPrice: Custom POS Pricing vs YouQuote: Request a Quote Formfor Shopify (2026)
MultiPrice: Custom POS Pricing and YouQuote: Request a Quote Form are both Shopify apps focused on pricing, but they address entirely different merchant needs. MultiPrice is designed for merchants who operate both an online store and physical Point of Sale (POS) locations and need to manage different prices for each. Its strength lies in its ability to set location-specific prices without relying on discount workarounds or product duplication, catering to merchants who want precise control over pricing across channels. It's specifically helpful for those dealing with varying overhead costs or competitive pressures in different locales. YouQuote: Request a Quote Form, on the other hand, serves merchants, often those selling high-value or customizable products, who require a request-a-quote system. Its core functionality enables customers to easily request pricing, which is important for products with complex pricing structures, volume discounts, or custom configurations. The app's higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggest that it's successfully meeting the needs of its target user base. The key difference is that MultiPrice directly manages fixed prices at the POS level, while YouQuote facilitates a negotiation process to determine a price on a case-by-case basis.

Our Verdict
Choosing between MultiPrice and YouQuote depends entirely on the merchant's business model and pricing strategy. MultiPrice is the clear choice for merchants who need to manage different fixed prices for their POS locations and online store. This is especially beneficial for retailers managing varying costs or competing in different local markets. The app simplifies omnichannel price management without complex workarounds.
YouQuote is better suited for businesses selling products with complex or variable pricing, such as custom goods or bulk orders. It helps gather leads, engage with customers, and provide personalized quotes. It's a necessity for businesses where pricing is not static and depends on individual customer requirements. The higher ratings and review count suggest YouQuote is a more mature and potentially more reliable solution for its specific use case.
