Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds vs Pinterestfor Shopify (2026)
Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds and Pinterest both aim to expand a Shopify merchant's reach by listing products on external platforms. However, they approach this goal with distinct strategies. Mulwi boasts extensive feed support for over 200 shopping destinations, catering to merchants who want to distribute their product information widely across a diverse range of channels. Pinterest, on the other hand, focuses specifically on leveraging the Pinterest platform, enabling merchants to tap into its visual search engine used by shoppers looking for inspiration and products. Pinterest's official app offers seamless integration with the platform, providing features such as automatic product catalog updates, Pinterest Tag integration for performance tracking, and advertising campaign management directly within Shopify. It appeals to merchants specifically targeting Pinterest users and seeking to leverage its unique visual discovery capabilities. Mulwi likely offers a broader, more diversified approach to feed management, useful for merchants seeking to maximize product visibility across numerous shopping engines. The choice depends heavily on whether the merchant wants to specialize in Pinterest or cast a wider net.

Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary goal is to maximize product exposure across a vast array of shopping platforms and marketplaces, Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds is likely the more suitable choice. It offers a diversified approach, allowing products to be listed in numerous locations. However, the greater complexity of managing multiple feeds might require more technical expertise or dedicated resources.
Conversely, if a merchant specifically targets Pinterest users and wants a tightly integrated solution for showcasing products on that platform, the official Pinterest app is the clear winner. The app's automatic updates, tracking features, and ability to manage ad campaigns directly from Shopify offer significant advantages for merchants focused on Pinterest's visual discovery experience. The $100 ad credit provides an added incentive for those new to Pinterest advertising. Ultimately, the choice depends on the merchant's marketing strategy and platform preferences.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up for a first-time user?
Pinterest is likely easier to set up initially, as it focuses solely on one platform and offers a streamlined integration process. Mulwi, with its support for 200+ feeds, may require more technical knowledge to configure correctly.
Which app offers better reporting and analytics?
Pinterest offers integrated reporting through the Pinterest Tag and API for Conversions, providing insights into campaign performance and user behavior on Pinterest. Mulwi's reporting capabilities would depend on its specific features and the analytics provided by the individual shopping feeds it supports.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, a merchant could potentially use both apps. They could use Mulwi to distribute their products widely across various platforms and also use the Pinterest app to focus specifically on their Pinterest presence and advertising.
Which app is better for a limited marketing budget?
Pinterest offers a $100 ad credit for new campaigns, potentially making it a more appealing option for merchants with limited budgets who want to experiment with Pinterest advertising. However, the cost-effectiveness of either app ultimately depends on the conversion rates and ROI achieved on each platform.
Does Mulwi have any features for managing ad campaigns like Pinterest?
Based on the provided information, Mulwi's primary focus is on generating and managing product feeds, not directly managing ad campaigns. The Pinterest app explicitly offers features for creating and managing shoppable ad campaigns within Shopify.
