Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds vs Rakuten Ichiba (JP)for Shopify (2026)
Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds and Rakuten Ichiba (JP) are both Shopify apps aimed at helping merchants sell on online marketplaces. However, the data suggests a significant difference in user satisfaction and adoption. Mulwi boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on a substantial 436 reviews, indicating a positive user experience. In stark contrast, Rakuten Ichiba (JP) suffers from a very low rating of 1.5/5 with only 7 reviews, suggesting potential issues with functionality, support, or overall usability. The vast difference in the number of reviews also indicates that Mulwi has a much larger user base and, presumably, a more mature and stable platform. Given the shared category of 'Selling online, Marketplaces', both apps aim to expand a Shopify merchant's reach beyond their own store. However, the name "Rakuten Ichiba (JP)" suggests a focus specifically on the Japanese Rakuten marketplace, potentially limiting its appeal to merchants targeting that region. Mulwi, on the other hand, explicitly mentions "200+ Shopping Feeds", suggesting a broader range of marketplace integrations and a wider potential audience. The difference in rating and reviews highlights the importance of considering user experience and platform stability when choosing an app to manage marketplace integrations.

Our Verdict
For most Shopify merchants seeking to expand their reach across multiple online marketplaces, Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds appears to be the significantly better option. Its overwhelmingly positive reviews and large user base suggest a reliable and user-friendly platform. The extensive marketplace support offered by Mulwi provides greater flexibility and potential for growth.
Rakuten Ichiba (JP) might be suitable only for Shopify merchants *exclusively* targeting the Japanese Rakuten Ichiba marketplace. However, the extremely low rating and minimal reviews raise serious concerns about its reliability and usability. Merchants should proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly investigate alternative solutions even within the Rakuten Ichiba (JP) ecosystem before committing to this app.
