Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds vs Shopify Marketplace Connectfor Shopify (2026)
Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds and Shopify Marketplace Connect both address the need for Shopify merchants to expand their reach beyond their own website. However, they cater to different expansion strategies. Mulwi focuses on broad shopping feed management across a wide array of platforms (indicated by "200+" feeds), suggesting an emphasis on advertising and product discovery. Shopify Marketplace Connect, on the other hand, specifically targets established marketplaces like Amazon, Target Plus, eBay, and Walmart, offering deeper integration for managing listings, orders, and inventory directly within Shopify. This makes it a more comprehensive solution for merchants prioritizing sales through those specific channels. While Mulwi boasts a perfect 5-star rating, the significantly lower number of reviews (436) compared to Shopify Marketplace Connect's 4.3-star rating and 1729 reviews indicates a smaller user base. Shopify Marketplace Connect's headline and description clearly define its value proposition: simplifying marketplace management for Shopify merchants. The "formerly Codisto" mention suggests established roots and potential brand recognition, even with the rebrand. The key features highlight its integrated approach to listings, orders, inventory, and fulfillment, streamlining marketplace operations for large and small businesses.

Our Verdict
Shopify Marketplace Connect is the better choice for merchants who are serious about selling on major marketplaces like Amazon, Target Plus, eBay, and Walmart and want a fully integrated solution within Shopify. The slightly lower rating is likely offset by the significantly larger number of reviews, indicating broader adoption and potentially more reliable support. The app’s comprehensive features for managing listings, orders, and inventory are essential for scaling marketplace sales.
Mulwi | 200+ Shopping Feeds is more suitable for merchants who are primarily focused on driving traffic to their own website through advertising and product discovery across a wide range of shopping feeds. It might also be a good starting point for merchants who are new to external channels and want to experiment with different platforms before committing to deeper marketplace integrations. However, it likely requires more manual effort for order and inventory management compared to Shopify Marketplace Connect.
Common Questions
What is the main difference between Mulwi and Shopify Marketplace Connect?
Mulwi focuses on managing product feeds for advertising and discovery across many platforms, while Shopify Marketplace Connect offers comprehensive integration with major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Target Plus, and Walmart for managing listings, orders, and inventory.
Which app is better for beginners?
Mulwi might be easier to get started with if you just want to get your products listed on various shopping feeds. However, if you plan to sell directly on larger marketplaces and want streamlined management within Shopify, Shopify Marketplace Connect is likely the better long-term investment despite a potentially steeper initial learning curve.
Does Shopify Marketplace Connect support all marketplaces?
No, Shopify Marketplace Connect specifically supports marketplaces like Amazon, Target Plus, eBay, and Walmart. Mulwi claims to support 200+ shopping feeds but doesn't specify which ones.
Which app offers better inventory management?
Shopify Marketplace Connect offers significantly better inventory management because it synchronizes your Shopify inventory with your marketplace listings in real-time. Mulwi, focused on feeds, likely does not offer the same level of integrated inventory management.
Is one app better for scaling to multiple marketplaces?
Shopify Marketplace Connect is better for scaling on the major marketplaces it supports, as it allows you to connect unlimited accounts and manage everything from Shopify. While Mulwi has many feed connections, scaling effectively might require more manual effort due to the lack of deep integration.
