Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a permanent and customizable music solution to create a specific ambiance throughout the year, MX: Background Music Player is the better choice, especially if they want to utilize music from various streaming services. Its granular control over player design is also a plus. However, given the low review count, extensive testing is recommended.
If the primary goal is to quickly and easily add festive holiday effects like snowfall and Christmas music to enhance the shopping experience during specific seasons (Valentine's Day, BFCM, Christmas), RT: Christmas Snowfall Effects is the superior option. The higher review count suggests a more established and tested product, and its simplicity and ease of use are appealing for merchants who want a quick seasonal update.
