My Product Registration vs Simply Shipping Protectionfor Shopify (2026)
My Product Registration and Simply Shipping Protection both address post-purchase customer satisfaction but cater to different needs. My Product Registration focuses on managing product registrations, warranties, and claims to build customer loyalty through excellent after-sales service. Its strength lies in its customizable forms and built-in integration for registrations and claims management. It is geared towards merchants selling products that benefit from warranty offerings and require serial number tracking. Its features are centered around customizing shipping protection options and offering multiple options to customers to add protection to their orders. This app focuses on merchants who want to monetize shipping protection without relying on third-party insurance providers, and those looking for comprehensive analytics on revenue and claims related to shipping issues. While both fall under the "Returns and warranty, Warranties and insurance" category, they serve vastly different functions: one for product protection, the other for shipping protection.
