MyDesigns: Print on Demand vs Nivoda Connectfor Shopify (2026)
MyDesigns: Print on Demand and Nivoda Connect both aim to simplify sourcing for Shopify merchants, but cater to vastly different product niches. MyDesigns focuses on democratizing custom product creation and fulfillment, offering tools for designing, publishing, and selling print-on-demand merchandise. Its key strengths lie in its premium mockup generator and bulk publishing features, targeting merchants looking to scale their custom product offerings efficiently. Conversely, Nivoda Connect is specifically designed for jewelers, providing access to a global inventory of natural and lab-grown diamonds and gemstones. It allows merchants to offer customizable ring designs and dynamically adjust pricing, effectively extending their jewelry selection without managing physical inventory. The shared category of 'Sourcing options' is almost misleading, as the apps serve completely distinct markets.

Our Verdict
Choosing between MyDesigns: Print on Demand and Nivoda Connect depends entirely on the merchant's specific product focus. If the business revolves around custom-designed merchandise, MyDesigns is the clear choice, offering tools to streamline the entire print-on-demand process. The bulk publishing and mockup generation features are valuable for scaling these types of businesses. However, for jewelers aiming to expand their diamond and gemstone offerings without holding physical inventory, Nivoda Connect provides a comprehensive solution. The customizable ring studio and dynamic pricing features are invaluable for this specific niche. There is little overlap; the apps address fundamentally different product segments, so there's rarely a need to choose between them.
