MyDesigns: Print on Demand vs Printful: Print on Demandfor Shopify (2026)
MyDesigns: Print on Demand and Printful: Print on Demand both cater to Shopify merchants seeking print-on-demand solutions, but they position themselves differently. MyDesigns emphasizes scalability and efficiency through bulk operations and a premium mockup generator, targeting businesses aiming for rapid growth and high-volume sales. Printful, on the other hand, focuses on ease of use and comprehensive fulfillment, appealing to beginners and those prioritizing custom branding and quality. The key difference lies in MyDesigns' focus on streamlining high-volume tasks versus Printful's broader approach to print-on-demand, including custom branding and beginner-friendly tools. While both apps fall within the 'Sourcing options' category on Shopify, their features suggest different levels of user expertise and operational scale. MyDesigns' headline and description explicitly mention creating, publishing, selling, and fulfilling print on demand products 'at scale', signaling a focus on businesses handling a larger volume of products and orders. Printful, although offering a well-rounded service, highlights aspects such as 'quick set-up' and 'easy-to-use design tools', thus targeting a broader audience, including those new to print-on-demand or seeking a simpler, more managed solution. The user review count vastly differs, with Printful having considerably more reviews, potentially reflecting its longer presence and broader adoption.
