MyFavorito vs W3 Share The Lovefor Shopify (2026)
MyFavorito and W3 Share The Love are both Shopify apps in the 'Donations' category, but they cater to different needs and strategies. MyFavorito focuses on leveraging the emotional connection customers have with sports clubs by allowing merchants to donate a percentage or fixed amount of sales to those clubs. This aims to drive sales, loyalty, and CSR initiatives related to sports fandom. MyFavorito promises to support potentially thousands of clubs and handle the process transactionally and automatically. However, it lacks any user reviews at this time. W3 Share The Love, on the other hand, gives merchants control over the causes they support. Merchants curate a list of causes important to them, and customers choose one during checkout. This approach strengthens brand alignment with specific values and builds a loyal customer base interested in those values. W3 Share The Love provides reporting insights on customer preferences and aims for seamless integration with the standard checkout process. It has a perfect 5/5 rating based on 9 reviews, suggesting positive user experiences. The core difference lies in control: MyFavorito focuses on sports clubs, while W3 Share The Love allows for merchant-defined causes.

Our Verdict
For merchants specifically targeting sports fans and wanting to support a wide range of sports clubs, MyFavorito *could* be a good fit *if* it addresses the lack of reviews and establishes trust. The promise of automating donations to potentially thousands of clubs is compelling if it works as advertised. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice.
W3 Share The Love is a more established option with positive user feedback. It's better suited for merchants who have specific causes they are passionate about and want to align their brand with those values. The reporting features and focus on checkout integration also make it a more practical choice for many businesses. Given the current data, W3 Share The Love is the safer and likely more effective option for most merchants.
