NAPPS | Mobile App Builder vs Shop This Cityfor Shopify (2026)
NAPPS | Mobile App Builder and Shop This City represent fundamentally different approaches to expanding a Shopify store's reach in 2026. NAPPS focuses on empowering merchants to create their own mobile app, providing a direct channel to their customers. Shop This City, on the other hand, operates as a listing service, aiming to drive local discovery by indexing products in local shopping directories. While both have perfect ratings, NAPPS boasts significantly more reviews, suggesting wider adoption and a potentially more robust track record. The core difference lies in control and target audience. NAPPS offers complete control over the customer experience within a dedicated app, ideal for brands seeking to build a loyal following and offer personalized features. Shop This City is geared towards brick-and-mortar fashion retailers seeking to attract nearby shoppers and drive traffic to their existing website. The choice between the two depends heavily on whether a merchant prioritizes a direct mobile presence or local discoverability through a third-party platform.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing a direct, branded mobile experience and increased customer engagement, NAPPS | Mobile App Builder is the better choice. Its focus on app creation provides full control and allows for personalized features to build customer loyalty. However, for fashion retailers with physical stores who primarily want to attract local customers and drive traffic to their website, Shop This City is more suitable. It focuses on targeted marketing to local shoppers, aiming to increase store visibility and sales within the immediate geographic area. Given the limited review count of Shop This City, users should proceed with caution and closely monitor its performance.
