Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a general-purpose, user-friendly solution to manage all kinds of metafields, Native Metafields appears to be the better choice. Its feature set, including import/export, file support, and direct editing, suggests a more accessible and comprehensive solution for most. It seems to be designed to make working with metafields easy.
However, if a business heavily relies on Quickbook for accounting and needs specific data synchronization, Quickbook Field By Commercient might be more suitable. It directly connects Shopify data with Quickbook's custom fields, which is valuable if the company already uses and depends on the platform. Otherwise, it is probably not worth using. The lack of ratings and reviews suggests potential risks associated with the app, such as a higher learning curve or limited support.
