New G Solution and SKU Auto | Bulk SKU Generator are both Shopify apps addressing SKU and barcode management, but they target vastly different segments. New G Solution positions itself as a comprehensive, cloud-based ERP system designed for B2B and wholesale businesses. Its focus is on inventory management, manufacturing management (BOM), and multichannel control, catering to merchants needing robust, end-to-end solutions. In contrast, SKU Auto | Bulk SKU Generator is a focused tool designed to simplify SKU and barcode modification for merchants managing large inventories. Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a full-fledged ERP solution to manage inventory, manufacturing, and multi-channel sales, New G Solution appears to be the more suitable choice. However, given the lack of reviews and a zero rating, proceed with caution and demand a thorough demo before commitment. It should be used in environments where substantial cost savings from efficiency can be measured.
On the other hand, if a merchant already has an inventory system in place but needs a tool specifically designed for efficiently updating SKUs and barcodes in bulk, SKU Auto | Bulk SKU Generator is likely the better option. Its focused functionality, positive reviews, and one-time payment make it an appealing choice for businesses prioritizing speed and simplicity in SKU management. The 5/5 rating (although with a small sample size) provides initial credibility. Unless you have a B2B warehouse with RMA needs, the other app would be overkill.
