Nexo ‑ Order Limits Quantity vs Payment Rules Hide PaymentHerofor Shopify (2026)
Nexo ‑ Order Limits Quantity and Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero are both highly rated Shopify apps in the Checkout category, but they address entirely different aspects of the checkout experience. Nexo focuses on controlling order quantities, allowing merchants to set minimum, maximum, and step limits for products, collections, or customer segments. This is particularly useful for managing inventory, enforcing purchase policies, and catering to wholesale or VIP customers. Payment Rules Hide PaymentHero, on the other hand, centers on optimizing the payment options presented to customers, enabling merchants to hide, sort, or rename payment methods based on customer segments or business needs, with the goal of increasing conversion rates. The key difference lies in their core functionalities: Nexo manipulates *what* and *how much* customers can buy, while Payment Rules focuses on *how* they pay. Nexo targets merchants who need to manage inventory constraints, run flash sales, or have complex customer tiers requiring specific purchase limits. Payment Rules caters to merchants who want to streamline their checkout process by offering relevant payment options, reducing friction, and potentially increasing conversion rates, especially those with a diverse range of payment gateways. While both aim to improve the customer experience, they do so by addressing completely distinct problems.
