Our Verdict
For merchants struggling with inventory management, complex pricing tiers, or needing to restrict bulk purchases, Nexo ‑ Order Limits Quantity is the superior choice. Its granular control over purchase quantities and ability to tailor rules based on customer segments offer significant advantages. On the other hand, PreOrder Guru excels at addressing lost revenue due to stockouts and creating anticipation for new product launches. For merchants frequently encountering stockouts or wanting to build excitement around upcoming products through presale campaigns, PreOrder Guru would be more beneficial. Be aware of the very small sample size of reviews for both apps.
In essence, if your primary concern is *controlling* what and how much customers buy, Nexo is the better fit. If your priority is *selling* products regardless of current stock levels, choose PreOrder Guru.
