Nitro Lookbook & Image Gallery vs Our Workfor Shopify (2026)
Nitro Lookbook & Image Gallery and Our Work are both Shopify apps in the 'Images and Media - Other' and 'Image Gallery' categories, aiming to enhance the visual presentation of products and projects. Nitro Lookbook focuses on creating shoppable lookbooks with extensive customization options and direct product pinning, targeting merchants who want to present products in lifestyle contexts to drive sales. Our Work, conversely, centers on showcasing projects and portfolios with category and product tagging, designed for manufacturers, sellers, and creative professionals who need to demonstrate real-world product usage. The key difference lies in their functionality. Nitro Lookbook offers advanced layout designs, customization presets, and the ability to embed lookbooks on any page. It emphasizes a shoppable, sales-driven presentation. Our Work prioritizes portfolio organization, easy product tagging within projects, and clarity in displaying work. While both leverage visuals, Nitro Lookbook gears towards immediate purchasing opportunities within the imagery, and Our Work emphasizes context and project showcases.

Our Verdict
Nitro Lookbook & Image Gallery appears to be the stronger choice for merchants prioritizing sales-driven visual marketing through highly customizable and interactive lookbooks. Its established reputation, as evidenced by the positive ratings and reviews, suggests a reliable and effective tool.
However, Our Work could be suitable for businesses specifically needing to showcase projects, portfolios, and real-world product usage, particularly those that require organizational clarity. However, the lack of any ratings and reviews creates a high risk for merchants, so the added value is uncertain.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Based on feature sets, Our Work *might* be easier due to its focus on core portfolio features, while Nitro Lookbook has deeper customization options that could require more setup time. However, without reviews for Our Work, it's hard to say for sure.
Can both apps handle large product catalogs?
Both apps allow tagging of products, so large catalogs are theoretically supportable. The real-world performance with a large catalog depends on the app's architecture and is not evident from the app descriptions.
Which app provides better customer support?
Nitro Lookbook explicitly mentions 'Live chat support is always happy to assist,' while Our Work doesn't mention customer support. Based on this information, Nitro Lookbook likely offers better support.
Which app is more focused on direct sales?
Nitro Lookbook is more directly focused on sales through its shoppable lookbook feature, allowing customers to purchase directly from the images. Our Work indirectly supports sales by providing context and highlighting product use, but lacks direct 'add to cart' features in the image itself.
What happens if I don't like the layout options in either app?
Nitro Lookbook seems to offer greater control over customization options to fit your store's branding. Our Work's description is vaguer about layout options.
