Nitro Lookbook & Image Gallery vs ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reelsfor Shopify (2026)
Nitro Lookbook & Image Gallery and ReelUp‑Shoppable Videos+ Reels offer distinct approaches to visual merchandising on Shopify. Nitro Lookbook focuses on creating visually appealing and shoppable image galleries and lookbooks. It emphasizes customizability, allowing merchants to pin products, images, and links onto static images. The key strength of Nitro Lookbook is its versatility in integrating lookbooks into various store pages and customizing their design. It's geared towards merchants wanting complete control over image presentation and aiming to enhance brand professionalism through curated visual stories. ReelUp, on the other hand, is heavily oriented toward video content, specifically shoppable videos sourced from platforms like TikTok and Instagram. ReelUp allows merchants to easily showcase user-generated content (UGC) and short-form videos in engaging formats like autoplay carousels and Instagram-style stories. A significant selling point of ReelUp is its emphasis on performance, with claims of minimal impact on page loading speed despite the video integration. The app’s target audience is merchants looking to leverage the popularity and authenticity of video content, especially UGC, to boost conversions. The seamless integration with other Shopify features like multi-currency support further enhances its value for international businesses. The choice between the two depends heavily on whether a merchant prefers curated images or engaging short-form videos.
