Our Verdict
Nivoda Connect is the clear choice for jewelers seeking to expand their online presence with a wide selection of diamonds and gemstones and offer customizable ring building experiences. Its strength lies in providing access to global inventory and robust customization options. Pix B2B Wholesale Simple, despite its lower rating and limited reviews, could be a viable solution for merchants who need a quick and dirty way to implement basic wholesale pricing tiers based on customer tags. However, given its limited feature set and the likely existence of more sophisticated B2B apps in 2026, it's best suited only for merchants with very simple wholesale needs and limited technical expertise.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, Pix B2B Wholesale Simple likely has a simpler initial setup, as it primarily involves creating metafields and tagging customers. Nivoda Connect, with its connection to a global inventory and customization options, likely requires a more involved setup process.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
Potentially, but it would be redundant and potentially conflicting. Nivoda Connect already implicitly allows different markups for different customers based on carat or price, so adding an additional wholesale app creates confusion. It's generally better to choose the app that best fits your primary needs.
Which app offers more advanced wholesale features?
Nivoda Connect indirectly provides wholesale features through dynamic pricing and access to a vast inventory. Pix B2B Wholesale Simple is *specifically* designed for wholesale, but its feature set is incredibly basic. In 2026, more advanced B2B/Wholesale apps would likely be more powerful overall for robust B2B feature needs.
What level of technical expertise do I need to use these apps?
Pix B2B Wholesale Simple requires a basic understanding of Shopify metafields and customer tagging. Nivoda Connect likely requires more technical expertise to configure the customization options and integrate with the Nivoda platform effectively.
Which app is better for long-term scalability?
Nivoda Connect appears to be more scalable for jewelers as it integrates with a global inventory and offers robust customization options that can adapt to changing customer demands. Pix B2B Wholesale Simple's basic functionality may become insufficient as your wholesale business grows and requires more sophisticated features.
