No Worries Sales Tax vs Simple Affiliatefor Shopify (2026)
No Worries Sales Tax and Simple Affiliate are both Shopify apps categorized under 'Taxes,' but they serve fundamentally different purposes. No Worries Sales Tax aims to simplify sales tax management for merchants operating in the United States and Australia, focusing on automatic nexus detection, live threshold tracking, and accurate tax rate calculations using rooftop-accurate geocoding. This makes it a tool designed for compliance and accounting. Crucially, as of 2026, it has no reviews, indicating it's either very new or unpopular. Simple Affiliate, on the other hand, is an affiliate marketing platform designed to help merchants drive sales through influencer and referral programs. It offers features like new customer accounts, affiliate sales tracking, flexible reward structures, and importantly, handles 1099 tax forms for affiliate payouts. Simple Affiliate boasts a perfect 5/5 rating with 82 reviews, suggesting strong user satisfaction. The app appears well-established and provides a complete solution for managing affiliate marketing programs from onboarding affiliates to paying out commissions and handling tax documentation. Therefore, there is very little overlap in the product offering of these two options.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing assistance with sales tax compliance specifically in the United States and Australia, No Worries Sales Tax *might* be a solution, assuming it gains traction and positive reviews. However, the lack of current reviews makes it difficult to assess its reliability and effectiveness. Simple Affiliate is the clear choice for merchants wanting to implement and manage an affiliate marketing program, given its excellent rating and established feature set for onboarding affiliates, tracking sales, and handling payouts.
Given the current data, Simple Affiliate is the stronger recommendation for merchants needing assistance with affiliate marketing and relevant tax documentation. If a merchant needs *both* sales tax calculation in the US/AU *and* affiliate marketing, they will need *both* apps, as they serve different, non-overlapping functions.
