Notasy ‑ Notas Fiscais vs Pixi Order Printer PDF Invoicefor Shopify (2026)
Notasy ‑ Notas Fiscais and Pixi Order Printer PDF Invoice both address invoicing needs for Shopify merchants, but cater to distinct audiences and regions. Notasy focuses on automating the issuance of 'notas fiscais' (NF-e & NFS-e), specifically for Brazilian merchants needing to comply with local tax regulations. It emphasizes integration with over 1,000 Brazilian municipalities, automatic calculation of tax deductions based on product costs, and simplified configuration for dropshippers. Pixi Order Printer PDF Invoice, on the other hand, positions itself as an all-in-one order printer app for generating invoices, packing slips, and other documents. It prioritizes ease of use, customization through a no-code editor, and integration with customer accounts and the POS system. The major difference lies in their target market and compliance focus. Notasy is tailored for Brazilian merchants navigating the complexities of the Brazilian tax system. Pixi is more globally applicable, emphasizing general invoicing, customizability, and document management. While Pixi offers tax-compliant invoices, it does not specifically highlight features tailored for specific regional tax regulations like Notasy does for Brazil. Also, Pixi is clearly the better reviewed app with a 5/5 rating and 25 reviews as opposed to the 0 rating and 0 reviews that Notasy has.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants operating in Brazil and needing to comply with Brazilian tax regulations, Notasy ‑ Notas Fiscais is the more suitable option. Its focus on NF-e & NFS-e, integration with Brazilian municipalities, and support for deducting product costs directly address the specific needs of this market. However, the lack of reviews is concerning and should be considered before making a decision.
For merchants outside of Brazil or those who require a more general-purpose invoicing and document management solution, Pixi Order Printer PDF Invoice is the stronger choice. Its high rating, positive reviews, customizable templates, and automated PDF delivery provide a more robust and user-friendly experience. The AI migration tool also makes it easy to switch from a current solution.
