Notch – Customer Support Suite vs Sobot Live Chat & Chatbotfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants choosing between Notch – Customer Support Suite and Sobot Live Chat & Chatbot face a choice between a fully managed customer support solution and a potentially self-managed live chat and chatbot platform. Notch positions itself as a complete outsourcing solution, handling all customer support operations using a combination of AI and human experts. Their offering focuses on freeing up the merchant's time to concentrate on business growth. Sobot, on the other hand, appears to be a live chat and chatbot app, possibly requiring more hands-on configuration and management from the merchant. The complete absence of reviews for Sobot suggests it might be a newer or less established app compared to Notch. However, the lack of comprehensive details on Sobot prevents a detailed features comparison.

Our Verdict
Notch – Customer Support Suite is likely better suited for merchants who want to completely offload their customer support operations and gain data-driven insights, even at a potentially higher cost. The lack of reviews for Sobot makes it difficult to assess its reliability and effectiveness. Sobot *might* be a good option for technically inclined merchants who want to manage their own live chat and chatbot system and are willing to take a risk on a new or unproven application, potentially saving on cost. Without additional information on Sobot's features and pricing, Notch appears to be the less risky choice for most merchants.
