Notch – Customer Support Suite vs Vennie: AI Chatbot for Zendeskfor Shopify (2026)
Notch – Customer Support Suite and Vennie: AI Chatbot for Zendesk both aim to improve customer support for Shopify merchants, but they adopt very different approaches. Notch positions itself as a complete, full-service solution, outsourcing the entire customer support operation to AI and expert teams. This is ideal for merchants seeking a hands-off approach and willing to relinquish control over their support workflows. Notch's value proposition centers around freeing up the merchant's time to focus on business growth through fully managed operations. Vennie, on the other hand, is an AI chatbot designed to integrate with Zendesk, focusing on automating specific support tasks within an existing Zendesk setup. It's aimed at merchants who already use Zendesk and want to improve efficiency by automating repetitive tasks like address changes and cancellations. Vennie is presented as a quick-to-implement and customizable solution that complements existing support staff, rather than replacing them entirely. Its strength lies in action-oriented support, directly resolving issues within Shopify.
