Our Verdict
For merchants needing advanced automation capabilities and the ability to manipulate store data based on specific events, Notifications by Modd Apps is the clear choice. Its extensive customization options, driven by Liquid support, allow for creating highly tailored workflows. However, this comes with a steeper learning curve.
ShopHelten Assistent is ideal for merchants who prioritize continuous operation and want to be immediately alerted to issues with their critical integrations. It's especially valuable for stores heavily reliant on third-party services like payment gateways and shipping providers. Given the lack of reviews for ShopHelten Assistent, merchants should proceed with caution and closely evaluate the app during its trial period. If a merchant is choosing between the two for a first app, and doesn't need complex customization, the immediate value of alerting for critical integration problems is arguably more valuable, even despite the zero-star reviews.
