Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a robust, highly customizable solution for automating notifications and updating store objects based on complex logic, Notifications by Modd Apps is the better choice. Its extensive Liquid support and event-driven triggers allow for very specific and tailored workflows. However, this comes with a potentially steeper learning curve.
If the primary goal is to increase sales and customer retention through automated web push notifications with minimal setup and ongoing management, Synt: Automated Web Push is the more suitable option. Its AI-powered optimization and pre-set automations provide a simpler and faster path to achieving results, even though it offers less granular control than Notifications by Modd Apps. The lack of reviews for Synt, however, should be considered a risk factor.
