NotifyMe vs Order Management — Trackeasyfor Shopify (2026)
NotifyMe and Order Management — Trackeasy both aim to improve Shopify store operations through staff notifications, but they serve distinctly different needs. NotifyMe focuses on delivering SMS notifications for various store events, primarily targeting traveling store owners or those lacking consistent internet access. Its value proposition is simple: reliable alerts delivered via text message regardless of connectivity. Order Management — Trackeasy, on the other hand, offers a comprehensive tracking system for order preparation and delivery, designed for businesses with more complex logistics, such as restaurants and warehouses. It emphasizes live tracking, multi-device accessibility, and granular control over order stages.

Our Verdict
Order Management — Trackeasy is the clear choice for businesses needing a robust order tracking and management system, especially those with multiple locations, users, and complex order fulfillment processes. Its perfect rating and user reviews indicate strong satisfaction. NotifyMe, given its lack of reviews and lower feature set, only makes sense for a very specific use case: a store owner who is frequently traveling in areas with poor internet access and needs basic order and shipment alerts via SMS. However, the complete absence of user feedback on NotifyMe makes it a risky choice compared to the proven effectiveness of Order Management — Trackeasy.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
NotifyMe claims "very simple installation," suggesting ease of setup. Order Management — Trackeasy is likely more complex to configure given its wider feature set, but no specific statements about ease of use have been given.
Can I use both apps at the same time?
Potentially, but they address different needs. NotifyMe provides basic SMS notifications, while Order Management — Trackeasy offers comprehensive order tracking within its app. Using both might be redundant unless you specifically need SMS alerts in addition to the app-based tracking of Trackeasy.
Which app is better for a restaurant?
Order Management — Trackeasy is explicitly designed for restaurant kitchens, offering features like live order preparation tracking and multiple device support. NotifyMe's limited features would not be a suitable solution for restaurant operations.
Which app is cheaper?
Pricing information is not provided for either app, so a cost comparison is impossible based on the data. You would need to check the Shopify App Store listings for current pricing details.
Does NotifyMe provide order reports?
No, NotifyMe's description and key features only mention SMS alerts for new orders and shipments. Order Management — Trackeasy is the app that provides product-wise preparation reports.
