Our Verdict
The choice between Nova: Multi Currency Converter and Sense RTL: עברית depends entirely on the target market and business goals. If the goal is to expand sales internationally by offering prices in local currencies, Nova: Multi Currency Converter is the clear choice. Its broad currency support and customization options make it a powerful tool for creating a localized shopping experience. Conversely, if the focus is specifically on the Israeli market and catering to Hebrew-speaking customers, Sense RTL: עברית is the more appropriate solution. It provides the necessary RTL alignment and Hebrew localization features to create a better shopping experience for this specific demographic. A merchant could, in theory, use both if selling internationally and targeting Israel, but their functions are independent.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and configure?
Based on the descriptions, both apps aim for easy configuration. Nova highlights simple customization of the currency bar. Sense RTL claims fast and easy RTL conversion. Without direct user feedback on setup complexities in 2026, it's difficult to definitively say which is easier.
Does Nova: Multi Currency Converter support RTL languages?
Nova: Multi Currency Converter primarily focuses on currency conversion. It does not explicitly mention support for RTL (right-to-left) language layouts like Hebrew or Arabic. This is the main function of Sense RTL: עברית.
Can I use Sense RTL: עברית if I'm not targeting the Israeli market?
While technically possible to use Sense RTL on any Shopify store, its features are specifically tailored for the Israeli market and Hebrew language. Using it outside of that context would likely not provide any benefit and might even introduce unintended consequences.
Are the exchange rates in Nova: Multi Currency Converter always accurate?
The description states that Nova: Multi Currency Converter uses "trusted up-to-date exchange rates based on Shopify's conversion systems & API". While this implies a high level of accuracy, currency fluctuations can still occur, and merchants should periodically verify the accuracy of the displayed rates.
Does Sense RTL: עברית handle currency conversion to Israeli Shekels?
Sense RTL: עברית primarily focuses on RTL alignment and Hebrew localization. While it adds payment icons, it does not explicitly state that it handles currency conversion to Israeli Shekels. To provide currency conversion to Shekels, you would need a currency converter app in addition to Sense RTL: עברית.
