O: Auto Tag & Flow Automation vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, both O: Auto Tag & Flow Automation and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator offer workflow automation capabilities for Shopify merchants, but they cater to distinct needs. O: Auto Tag & Flow Automation focuses on simplifying order, customer, and product management through tagging. Its strength lies in providing pre-built workflows and a user-friendly interface for automating tagging processes without requiring code. It seems positioned for merchants looking to improve operational efficiency and gain insights from their data. SupaEasy, on the other hand, is geared towards advanced checkout customization by replacing soon to be deprecated Script Editor. Supaseasy positions itself as a solution for merchants who need granular control over checkout processes, offering the ability to generate custom functions for discounts, shipping, payment, and validation. The app specifically calls out Shopify Plus users who previously relied on the script editor, but offers benefits to all Shopify plan merchants. Its strength lies in AI-powered function generation, providing advanced customization options without necessarily requiring extensive coding knowledge. Therefore, while both use AI, the use cases are very different: one for back-end automation through tagging and one for front-end customization of the checkout experience using custom functions.
