Our Verdict
Choosing between O: WhatsApp Chat, Contact Form and Smile: Loyalty Rewards Program depends entirely on the merchant's priorities. If the primary goal is to enhance customer communication and provide immediate support via WhatsApp, O: WhatsApp Chat, Contact Form is the more suitable choice. It offers a direct and efficient channel for customer interaction. However, if the focus is on building long-term customer loyalty and driving repeat purchases through incentivized rewards programs, Smile is the clear winner. Its comprehensive feature set, integrations, and established user base (as evidenced by the high number of reviews) make it a powerful tool for customer retention.
A smaller store just starting out and focused on reactive customer service on a budget might benefit from the simplicity (likely) and directness of a WhatsApp chat app; whereas a more established store with robust marketing campaigns and a focus on long-term revenue would likely favor the rich ecosystem that Smile offers. Larger merchants with existing Klaviyo or Gorgias accounts, for example, would likely benefit the most from Smile's direct integrations.
