OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels vs SupaEasy: AI Functions creatorfor Shopify (2026)
OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels and SupaEasy: AI Functions creator are both highly rated (5/5) Shopify apps in the Operations category, but they address drastically different merchant needs. Our Verdict
The choice between OC Meta Pixel and SupaEasy depends entirely on the merchant's primary needs. If the priority is optimizing Facebook and TikTok ad campaigns, overcoming ad blocker challenges, and gaining precise tracking data for enhanced ROAS, OC Meta Pixel is the clear winner. It streamlines pixel setup and provides advanced features like Conversion API for reliable data collection. However, if the focus is on customizing the checkout experience, migrating away from deprecated Scripts, or implementing advanced discount, shipping, or payment rules, SupaEasy provides a powerful, low-code solution. It empowers merchants to take control of their checkout flow without requiring extensive coding knowledge, especially useful after the Script Editor deprecation. For Shopify Plus merchants, or those needing deep checkout customization, SupaEasy will be a more relevant tool.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up for someone with no coding experience?
Both apps emphasize ease of use for non-coders. OC Meta Pixel boasts 'No Login, No Coding', suggesting a very straightforward setup. SupaEasy uses AI to generate functions, minimizing coding requirements, but might require some understanding of desired checkout logic.
Does OC Meta Pixel offer any features besides Facebook and TikTok pixel tracking?
Yes, it includes UTM tracking for real-time attribution reporting, and the ability to manage multiple pixels for niche targeting and backup purposes. It also emphasizes improving event match quality score.
Can SupaEasy completely replace the functionality of the old Shopify Script Editor?
SupaEasy is designed as a replacement for the Script Editor, offering a migration tool to convert old Scripts to new Shopify Functions. However, the complexity of the original script might influence the ease and completeness of migration. The AI assistant is intended to handle complex cases.
Which app is more beneficial for a small business with a limited advertising budget?
OC Meta Pixel can be beneficial for small businesses actively using Facebook/TikTok ads, by improving targeting and ROAS. However, if a small business doesn't use ads, it will not be relevant. SupaEasy's benefits are applicable to a wider range of businesses, but only if they require checkout customization and potentially require replacing old scripts.
Does SupaEasy work with all Shopify plans, or is it limited to Shopify Plus?
SupaEasy is specifically advertised as working for every Shopify plan, making it accessible to merchants not restricted to Shopify Plus. This is an important selling point as it allows all merchants access to Shopify Functions, which were formerly only available on Shopify Plus
