Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants heavily reliant on Facebook and TikTok advertising and seeking a straightforward solution to improve pixel tracking, bypass ad blockers, and maximize ROAS with features like Conversion API and real-time UTM reports, OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels is the better choice. Its user-friendly setup and focus on Meta/TikTok make it ideal for those wanting quick results without extensive technical expertise. However, for merchants employing a wider range of marketing channels and requiring a more flexible and comprehensive tag management system, Wixpa Google Tag Manager - GTM, although potentially requiring more technical setup, offers greater control and customization over data collection and analysis across diverse platforms.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up for a non-technical user?
OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels appears to be easier to set up due to its specific focus on Meta and TikTok pixels and claim of 'No coding' required.

Wixpa GTM does not directly offer Conversion API. However, you can configure Conversion API through GTM by setting up the appropriate tags and triggers, which requires more technical knowledge.
Which app is better for tracking conversions across multiple platforms?
Wixpa Google Tag Manager - GTM is likely better for tracking conversions across multiple platforms, as it's a general-purpose tag management system and isn't limited to just Facebook and TikTok.
Which app is more suitable for a small business just starting with Facebook ads?
OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels is probably more suitable for a small business starting with Facebook ads because of its focus on Facebook Pixels, potentially simpler setup, and higher rating (although consider the number of reviews).
How does the Conversion API implementation differ between the two apps?
OC Meta Pixel Facebook Pixels offers a seemingly simplified and integrated Conversion API setup tailored specifically for Facebook and TikTok. Wixpa GTM offers the *potential* for Conversion API implementation but requires the merchant to configure it manually within the GTM interface, implying a steeper learning curve.
