OC Product Enquiry vs SMPS Product Question & Answerfor Shopify (2026)
OC Product Enquiry and SMPS Product Question & Answer both address customer inquiries, but they approach the problem with different focuses. OC Product Enquiry emphasizes a general-purpose inquiry system, promising a user-friendly interface, real-time notifications, and analytics to improve customer interaction and sales. It positions itself as a robust system for managing all types of product-related inquiries. SMPS Product Question & Answer, on the other hand, is more specifically tailored to handling questions and answers displayed publicly on product pages and building an FAQ page. Because of this, SMPS Product Question & Answer targets merchants needing comprehensive Q&A tools and integration with marketing apps.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking a broad, general-purpose inquiry management system with analytics and real-time notifications, OC Product Enquiry *could* be an option. However, the significantly lower number of reviews raises concerns about its maturity and reliability in 2026. Its lack of explicit marketing integrations is another drawback.
SMPS Product Question & Answer is the stronger choice for most merchants. It provides a comprehensive solution for managing product-specific questions, building an FAQ page, and leveraging user-generated content for SEO. The integration with Mailchimp and Klaviyo makes it particularly valuable for businesses focused on email marketing. Despite some focus overlap, SMPS Product Question & Answer is more robust for its core purposes.
