OCT Shipping Rates Calculator vs Store Pickup + Delivery (CR)for Shopify (2026)
OCT Shipping Rates Calculator and Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) both aim to enhance the delivery and pickup options for Shopify merchants, but they approach the problem from different angles. OCT Shipping Rates Calculator (with limited review data) likely focuses on providing accurate shipping rate calculations, allowing customers to see the true cost of delivery upfront. Store Pickup + Delivery (CR), on the other hand, offers a comprehensive suite of features centered around scheduling pickups and deliveries, managing local fulfillment, and optimizing the customer experience for local orders. The sheer volume of reviews for Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) suggests a wider adoption and potentially a more mature and feature-rich platform. The core difference lies in their functionality. OCT Shipping Rates Calculator (based solely on its name) tackles shipping cost transparency, while Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) prioritizes the logistics and scheduling of local orders. The 'CR' app provides tools to limit orders per time slot, manage multi-location fulfillment, and even require specific collections for pickup. These features are specifically designed for merchants, especially restaurants, seeking to optimize their local delivery and pickup operations. While the OCT Shipping Rates Calculator's functionality is unknown beyond its name, the clear focus and feature-rich description of Store Pickup + Delivery (CR) indicate a broader and deeper offering for merchants focused on local fulfillment strategies.
