Omnibus Pricing vs Zonos Duty and Taxfor Shopify (2026)
Omnibus Pricing and Zonos Duty and Tax both address internationalization needs for Shopify merchants in 2026, but they tackle very different aspects. Omnibus Pricing, while having a good rating, has significantly fewer reviews than Zonos, suggesting it may be a newer or more niche app. Zonos Duty and Tax focuses specifically on simplifying cross-border transactions by automating duty and tax calculations, remittance, and label creation. Its description highlights avoiding 'surprises' for customers, pointing to improved customer satisfaction and reduced rejected packages due to unexpected fees. Zonos Duty and Tax targets merchants actively selling internationally or looking to expand globally. Its key value proposition centers on guaranteed duties and taxes, alleviating reconciliation hassles, and handling VAT registration/remittance. The app's compatibility with carrier accounts and discounts on import fees further reinforces its international commerce focus. However, the headline warns it's unnecessary for those with Zonos Verified Accounts through Canada Post or Australia Post. Omnibus Pricing's focus is less clear based on the limited information available.
