Omnisend Email Marketing & SMS vs Shopify Bundlesfor Shopify (2026)
Omnisend Email Marketing & SMS and Shopify Bundles, while both falling under the broad categories of Marketing and Conversion on Shopify, address drastically different needs. Omnisend focuses on email and SMS marketing automation, offering tools for list growth, email creation, and automated workflows like abandoned cart recovery. It positions itself as a comprehensive solution to help merchants 'sell more stuff to more people' through personalized communication and a wide array of pre-built templates and AI-powered content generation features. Its high rating and large number of reviews suggest strong user satisfaction. Shopify Bundles, in contrast, directly targets increased Average Order Value (AOV) by enabling merchants to easily create and offer product bundles and multipacks. The app prioritizes ease of use, boasting 'no coding or customization required,' and offers real-time inventory updates to prevent overselling. However, its significantly lower rating and fewer reviews point to potential user experience or feature limitations that may impact merchant satisfaction. The feature set caters specifically to product curation and discount strategies related to bundled products, representing a more niche offering than Omnisend's broad marketing automation capabilities.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing comprehensive email and SMS marketing automation with a focus on personalized communication and list growth, Omnisend Email Marketing & SMS is the clear choice. Its high rating, vast user base, and feature-rich platform make it a strong contender for businesses aiming to scale their marketing efforts.
However, for merchants specifically seeking to increase their average order value by offering product bundles and multipacks without needing coding expertise, Shopify Bundles is a more direct solution. While its rating suggests potential drawbacks in user experience or feature sets, its targeted functionality might be sufficient for businesses with a focused bundling strategy. Merchants should weigh the lower rating against the simplicity and bundling-specific features when making their decision.
