Our Verdict
The best choice between Omnisend and Smile depends heavily on the merchant's primary goals. Omnisend is ideal for merchants prioritizing customer acquisition and driving immediate sales through email and SMS marketing. Its AI copy generation and pre-made templates accelerate campaign creation, making it valuable for stores needing rapid outreach. Smile shines for merchants already having a customer base and aiming to cultivate long-term loyalty. Its robust customization options and integration capabilities make it a powerful tool for building a thriving customer community. A merchant seeking to focus on maximizing the value of their existing customer base should choose Smile, while one aggressively pursuing new customer acquisition and sales through email and SMS would benefit more from Omnisend.

Yes, these apps can be complementary. A merchant could use Omnisend to acquire new customers and then use Smile to incentivize repeat purchases and build loyalty amongst that acquired customer base.
Which app is more focused on revenue generation?
Both contribute to revenue generation, but Omnisend directly focuses on increasing sales through marketing campaigns, while Smile focuses on increasing customer lifetime value, indirectly driving sales.
