Omnium Maps vs Store Pickup by Sketch Themesfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, merchants choosing between Omnium Maps and Store Pickup by Sketch Themes for their Shopify store locator needs face a clear choice. Omnium Maps focuses on displaying store locations using Google Maps, enabling customers to find physical stores where products or services are available. Its strength lies in comprehensive mapping features, including the ability to manage a large number of locations (up to 2000 per map), CSS customizations, and CSV import/export for location management. It's designed to drive traffic to physical stores. Store Pickup by Sketch Themes, on the other hand, facilitates in-store order pickup, focusing on scheduling and managing customer pickups at designated times. Its key feature is enabling customers to select preferred pickup dates and times, streamlining the pickup process for both customers and the merchant. It emphasizes convenience and efficient order fulfillment rather than general store discovery. This app appears to cater more to merchants with a strong existing online presence who want to offer convenient order pickup options, rather than drive store discovery.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on increasing foot traffic and making their store locations easily discoverable via a Google Maps interface, Omnium Maps is the clear choice. Its high rating and positive reviews suggest a user-friendly experience and effective functionality. The ability to manage a large number of locations and customize the map's appearance further enhances its value. Store Pickup by Sketch Themes, on the other hand, is better suited for merchants who already have a strong online presence and want to offer customers the convenience of picking up their orders in-store. While it currently lacks reviews, its focus on scheduling and managing pickups could be valuable for streamlining order fulfillment. However, due to the lack of reviews and specific details, the actual effectiveness and usability of Store Pickup are uncertain. Merchants should closely monitor the app's development and consider a trial period if available.
