OnAir: 1‑Click Online Calls vs RetainIQfor Shopify (2026)
OnAir: 1‑Click Online Calls and RetainIQ represent vastly different approaches to customer engagement for Shopify merchants. OnAir, despite its name, provides no further information beyond its title and category placement (Support - Other), making it difficult to assess its intended functionality or target audience. The lack of reviews and a zero rating further hinders its credibility. RetainIQ, on the other hand, is a clearly defined hyper-personalization app designed to enhance customer retention through personalized email and SMS marketing. It boasts a perfect 5/5 rating based on 44 reviews, indicating strong user satisfaction. RetainIQ's core strength lies in its ability to create segments-of-1 using dynamic tags like loyalty, weather, location, and site behavior to deliver highly relevant and engaging customer experiences, ultimately aiming for increased CTR, CLTV, and Revenue.

Our Verdict
Based on the available information, RetainIQ is the clearly superior choice for Shopify merchants seeking to enhance customer retention and drive revenue through personalized marketing. Its strong rating, positive reviews, and well-defined feature set make it a compelling option. OnAir's lack of information and zero rating make it difficult to recommend, unless a merchant has specific knowledge or reason to believe it fulfills a particular need not addressed by other apps. RetainIQ suits established eCommerce stores that want to move beyond basic segmentation and create truly personalized experiences, while the value of OnAir, if any, is unknown.
