Onboard B2B: Company Profiles vs Order Fulfillment Guru OMSfor Shopify (2026)
Onboard B2B: Company Profiles and Order Fulfillment Guru OMS both aim to automate workflows for Shopify merchants, but cater to drastically different needs. Onboard B2B focuses on streamlining B2B onboarding and management directly within Shopify Plus's B2B features. It provides tools for company profile creation, approval flows, access control, and user management, primarily targeting businesses needing enhanced B2B capabilities. Order Fulfillment Guru OMS, conversely, tackles order routing and fulfillment complexities for businesses with multiple locations, vendors, or needing integration with 3PLs. Its core strength lies in automating order splitting, routing, and inventory synchronization across multiple Shopify stores. The fundamental difference lies in their core focus. Onboard B2B enhances the initial stages of B2B relationships (company application, approval, user management, access), while Order Fulfillment Guru OMS optimizes the post-sale fulfillment process (order routing, splitting, syncing). While both apps fall under 'Workflow automation,' their application areas are distinct and address entirely different pain points in the merchant's business.
