Onboard B2B: Company Profiles vs Singleton | Verify Customersfor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, both Onboard B2B: Company Profiles and Singleton | Verify Customers offer 5/5 ratings within the Shopify ecosystem, focusing on account and login management. However, their functionalities and target audiences diverge significantly. Onboard B2B is tailored for Shopify Plus merchants engaged in B2B sales, enabling them to streamline onboarding, manage company profiles, and control access using native Shopify B2B features. It prioritizes efficient company management and customized wholesale application processes. Conversely, Singleton | Verify Customers is designed for broader use, offering customer verification for both B2B and B2C stores by controlling access to pricing and 'add to cart' functionality. The core distinction lies in their focus: Onboard B2B emphasizes *company-level* management with robust features like bulk import and location management specifically aimed at B2B scenarios, while Singleton | Verify Customers centers on *individual customer* validation, granting or denying access based on approval status and tags. The size of the user base differs greatly, with Singleton | Verify Customers boasting a significantly higher number of reviews (78) compared to Onboard B2B (8), indicating potentially wider adoption and a longer track record, though smaller review count doesn't necessarily mean worse experience. Ultimately, the choice depends on whether a merchant requires comprehensive B2B management tools or a simple customer verification solution.
