OneReview: Use Online Reviews vs Trustify: Testimonial Reviewsfor Shopify (2026)
OneReview: Use Online Reviews and Trustify: Testimonial Reviews both address the crucial need for social proof in boosting sales on Shopify. However, they approach this need from different angles and cater to different merchant profiles. OneReview focuses on rapidly populating product pages with external reviews, acting as a supplement to existing review strategies or as a starting point for new stores lacking reviews. Trustify, on the other hand, is a more comprehensive review management solution, focusing on collecting, managing, and displaying reviews primarily *from* customers who purchase through the Shopify store, and importing from common dropshipping sources. OneReview's strength lies in its speed and ease of implementation, promising a 5-minute setup and focusing on aggregating existing online reviews from external sources. It's ideal for merchants who need immediate social proof, particularly for products already sold elsewhere. Trustify provides a more complete ecosystem centered on user-generated reviews, which also now incorporates AI translation of reviews, providing tools for soliciting reviews, managing feedback (Q&A), and integrating with Google Shopping. Trustify is suitable for established stores wanting a robust solution to build trust and leverage customer feedback, especially those with international customers, and dropshippers already selling on popular marketplaces. The choice depends on whether the priority is rapid deployment and external review aggregation (OneReview) or building an internal customer review ecosystem with rich features and review importing from marketplaces (Trustify).

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing rapid deployment and leveraging existing external reviews, OneReview is the clear choice. Its focus on aggregating existing reviews from major retailers allows for quickly populating product pages with social proof, even with zero internal reviews. This is particularly useful for new stores or those selling products already established elsewhere.
Trustify is better suited for stores looking to build a robust, long-term review ecosystem and leverage user-generated content. Its features for collecting, managing, and translating reviews, coupled with Google Shopping integration, make it ideal for established stores and dropshippers focused on international markets. While it might require more effort to set up and manage, the comprehensive feature set and focus on building trust through authentic reviews make it a valuable investment for the right merchant.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
OneReview is significantly easier to set up, promising a 5-minute setup. Trustify, with its more extensive feature set, likely requires more time and effort for configuration.
