ONotify ‑ COD vs Partialy ‑ Partial Payment CODfor Shopify (2026)
ONotify ‑ COD and Partialy ‑ Partial Payment COD both target Shopify merchants dealing with Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, but they offer fundamentally different approaches. ONotify focuses on order verification and communication, aiming to reduce fraud and improve the customer experience through OTP (One-Time Password) verification and shipment tracking. It positions itself as a comprehensive solution for managing COD and prepaid orders globally, emphasizing multi-language support for WhatsApp communication. Partialy, on the other hand, centers around enabling partial payments and offering flexible payment options to reduce Return to Origin (RTO) rates and increase sales. The core difference lies in their primary function: ONotify validates orders and keeps customers informed, while Partialy changes the payment structure by allowing partial payments upfront. ONotify is suited for merchants concerned about fake orders and needing to verify customer information. Partialy targets merchants seeking to reduce RTO, offer flexible payment plans, and potentially increase sales by enabling deposits and deferred payment options. Partialy also offers more advanced COD rules based on various factors. The choice between the two depends heavily on the merchant's specific pain points and goals related to COD orders.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with reducing fake COD orders and improving customer communication regarding order status, ONotify ‑ COD appears to be the more suitable option, despite the lack of reviews. However, the absence of user feedback makes it a riskier choice. If the main goal is to reduce RTO rates and offer flexible payment options to customers, Partialy ‑ Partial Payment COD is the clear winner. Its 5-star rating and 11 reviews indicate a positive user experience and effective functionality.
Given the available information, Partialy is generally the safer and likely more effective choice for most merchants dealing with COD orders in 2026. Merchants struggling with abandoned carts and RTO should strongly consider Partialy. Merchants struggling with fraud should proceed with caution using ONotify, and possibly search for other apps with more reviews.
