ONotify focuses on streamlining order verification and customer communication using IVR calls, WhatsApp messages, and email, with multilingual support for various communication templates. Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing robust order verification and multilingual communication with customers regarding COD orders, especially those operating internationally, ONotify ‑ COD is worth investigating further, despite the lack of reviews. However, the absence of user feedback is a significant risk. If the primary goal is to increase COD sales through a streamlined checkout process and better control over who can use COD, Progus COD (Cash on Delivery) is likely the better choice, given its features and initial positive reviews.
Given the current data landscape (absence of reviews for ONotify), Progus COD would be the safer recommendation for most merchants due to its focus on increasing conversion and actively managing the risk of COD. Merchants considering ONotify should be aware of the risk they are taking given the lack of social proof, and should proceed with extreme caution, potentially contacting DevTeamPro LLC directly to learn more and even test the application before installation on their storefront.
Common Questions
Which app is better for reducing fraudulent COD orders?
ONotify ‑ COD, with its focus on order verification using IVR calls, WhatsApp, and email, is designed specifically to reduce fraudulent orders by confirming the authenticity of each transaction before fulfillment. Progus COD, while helping control visibility, is not directly focused on fraud prevention.
Which app is easier to use for a beginner?
Based on the descriptions, Progus COD is likely easier to use. Its 1-Click order form and smart visibility rules are more straightforward to implement compared to setting up IVR calls, WhatsApp message templates in multiple languages, and email communication with ONotify.
Can both apps be used together?
Potentially, but it may be redundant. Progus COD could streamline the checkout process, then ONotify could be used to verify the resulting COD orders. However, this might add unnecessary complexity. Merchants should carefully evaluate if the benefits outweigh the added complexity and cost.
Which app supports more languages?
Progus COD supports 130+ languages for its form styles. ONotify supports WhatsApp message templates in 12 languages. Progus COD therefore supports more languages overall.
Which app is better for abandoned cart recovery?
ONotify ‑ COD explicitly mentions recovering abandoned carts with discounted templates. Progus COD does not directly mention abandoned cart recovery.
