OnYou ‑ AI Virtual Try on vs Picture It: AR & Art Previewsfor Shopify (2026)
OnYou ‑ AI Virtual Try on and Picture It: AR & Art Previews are both 5-star rated Shopify apps focusing on immersive shopping experiences using advanced image technology. However, they cater to distinctly different merchant types. OnYou targets fashion brands, offering AI-powered virtual try-on capabilities that allow customers to visualize clothing on themselves by uploading a photo. This focuses on personalization, size recommendations, and reducing returns within the apparel industry. Picture It, on the other hand, is designed for art galleries, art stores, and decor shops, enabling customers to visualize wall art in their homes using augmented reality. Picture It uses AR to project artwork onto real-world environments via a smartphone or tablet camera. While both aim to increase customer confidence and sales, they achieve this through vastly different methods tailored to the specific product category.
