OnYou ‑ AI Virtual Try on vs Vizbl ARfor Shopify (2026)
OnYou - AI Virtual Try on and Vizbl AR both aim to enhance the online shopping experience, but cater to different needs and industries. OnYou focuses specifically on the fashion industry, offering a virtual try-on experience using AI, allowing customers to visualize clothing on themselves via photo upload. It provides personalized recommendations and size guidance, potentially increasing sales and reducing returns in the fashion sector. Vizbl AR, on the other hand, offers augmented reality solutions enabling customers to visualize products in their own physical spaces, addressing concerns about size, scale, and context across various product categories. The key difference lies in their application of 3D/AR/VR technology. OnYou delivers a personalized, interactive try-on experience leveraging AI to show garments on customers. Vizbl AR enhances product context by allowing customers to place a 3D model of the product in their real-world environment using AR. While both aim to increase conversion rates and reduce returns, their approaches and target merchant profiles are distinct, reflected in the available features and perceived value proposition. The lack of reviews for Vizbl AR compared to OnYou is a significant point to consider.

Our Verdict
Given the limited data and complete lack of reviews for Vizbl AR, OnYou - AI Virtual Try on is currently the stronger recommendation for fashion brands seeking to enhance the online try-on experience. Its AI-powered personalization features, coupled with positive (albeit limited) user feedback, offer a compelling value proposition.
However, Vizbl AR could be a better fit for merchants selling products where understanding size and scale within a real-world environment is crucial (e.g., furniture, home decor). It's important to acknowledge the zero-review status of Vizbl AR which makes it difficult to assess its reliability and performance. Merchants considering Vizbl AR should proceed cautiously and thoroughly test the app before a full rollout.
Common Questions
What type of product is each app best suited for?
OnYou excels with fashion apparel, enabling virtual try-ons. Vizbl AR is suited for products where visualizing size and placement in a real-world environment is important, like furniture and decor.
How do the apps help reduce returns?
OnYou reduces returns by offering size recommendations and allowing customers to see how clothes fit before purchase. Vizbl AR minimizes returns by providing a realistic preview of the product in the customer's space, reducing surprises about size or fit.
Which app is easier to integrate with Shopify?
OnYou claims a one-click installation process, suggesting a streamlined setup. Vizbl AR also claims 'Easy to install', though it does not quantify the integration effort.
Does either app offer personalization features?
OnYou provides personalized product suggestions in real-time through its AI Shopping Assistant, enhancing the shopping experience. Vizbl AR focuses on AR visualization and does not explicitly offer personalized recommendations.
Which app should I choose if I sell shoes?
OnYou, while focused on clothing, could potentially work for certain types of fashion-forward shoes if the try-on experience can be adapted. Vizbl AR might be a better choice if the shoes need to be visualized in a customer's environment (e.g., placing shoes near an outfit or understanding the dimensions in a closet), assuming it functions well.
