Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants operating point-of-sale systems in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, OpenFiskal TSE & RKSV for POS is the clear choice. Its features directly address the complex regulatory requirements of KassenSichV and RKSV, providing tools for secure receipt signing, automated reporting, and accounting integration. The positive user reviews further support its reliability and effectiveness.
YITY Store Locator, lacking any reviews or ratings, presents a riskier option. While a store locator might be beneficial for businesses with physical locations, the lack of feedback makes it difficult to assess its functionality or value. Until YITY Store Locator gains reviews and demonstrates its capabilities, OpenFiskal remains the more trustworthy and practical solution, especially for merchants prioritizing legal compliance in the DACH region.
