OptiMonk: Popup, CRO, A/B Test vs Toastibar Sales Popup & Timersfor Shopify (2026)
OptiMonk and Toastibar both aim to improve conversion rates on Shopify stores through pop-ups, but they take different approaches. OptiMonk focuses on creating visually appealing, on-brand popups through AI-powered design and a drag-and-drop editor, with an emphasis on A/B testing and personalization. It targets merchants who desire custom and sophisticated pop-up designs with robust A/B testing capabilities. Toastibar, on the other hand, emphasizes social proof and urgency by displaying real-time sales, cart activity, visitor counts, and countdown timers. Toastibar is geared towards merchants aiming to create a sense of FOMO (fear of missing out) and build trust through social validation. It features geo-location and multilingual support making it suitable for international businesses. While OptiMonk provides a comprehensive popup building suite with A/B testing and personalization, Toastibar leans heavily on social proof and urgency cues, appealing to a different psychological approach for conversion rate optimization.
