Our Verdict
OPTIS Color Swatch Variants is ideal for merchants who already have product variants (e.g., different colors, sizes) and want to improve their visual presentation and make them easier for customers to navigate. The higher rating and significant number of reviews suggest a proven track record. SB Custom Product Fields is better suited for merchants who need to offer highly customizable products requiring specific input from buyers before purchase. However, the lack of reviews makes it a riskier choice, especially without additional information on reliability and support.
If visual presentation and ease of navigation for existing variants is the priority, OPTIS is the clear choice. If the business model relies heavily on collecting custom information and charging for personalized options, SB Custom Product Fields may be considered, but with caution and thorough testing due to the missing review data.
