Our Verdict
Based on the available data in 2026, OPTIS Product Options, Variant is the significantly safer and more reliable choice for Shopify merchants seeking custom file upload functionality. The strong positive reviews and high rating provide confidence in its features, stability, and support. Personalo Product Personalize, lacking any user feedback, represents a much higher risk. While it might offer unique features, the absence of validation makes it difficult to recommend, especially for businesses that rely heavily on product customization. Merchants should consider Personalo only if they are willing to be early adopters and potentially encounter issues that need resolution.
