Our Verdict
The choice between OPTIS Product Options, Variant and Price Tapper POS hinges entirely on the merchant's needs. If a merchant operates primarily online and requires intricate product customization options to enhance their catalog, OPTIS Product Options, Variant is likely the better choice, given its established reputation and extensive user base. However, a brick-and-mortar store utilizing Shopify POS and requiring the ability to quickly create custom sale items with tailored prices and notes would greatly benefit from Price Tapper POS. The extremely low number of reviews for Price Tapper POS is a risk factor that merchants should heavily consider. While both apps have perfect ratings, the sample size disparity is enormous, therefore OPTIS Product Options, Variant currently appears to be the far more reliable and proven application.
