Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer vs Puco Checkout Rulesfor Shopify (2026)
Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer and Puco Checkout Rules, while both operating within the Shopify checkout and cart experience, cater to different merchant needs. Opus focuses on increasing AOV and conversion rates through a suite of cart-focused upselling, cross-selling, and incentive features, aiming to transform the cart into a revenue-generating engine. Puco Checkout Rules, on the other hand, is not described in detail, so one can only assume they focus on allowing merchants to customize rules or processes during the checkout phase. Opus is geared towards merchants looking for a comprehensive solution to boost AOV and recover abandoned carts. Its broad feature set, including free gifts, rewards bars, urgency timers, and abandoned cart analytics, suggests a target audience actively seeking to maximize revenue through strategic cart optimization. While Puco might be suitable for simpler or more specific checkout requirements, Opus offers a wider range of tools for optimizing the entire cart experience. Without more information about Puco, it is difficult to determine its potential for different merchant scenarios.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing AOV growth and seeking a comprehensive cart optimization solution with upselling, cross-selling, and abandoned cart recovery, Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer is the clear choice. Its higher review count and perfect rating, combined with its feature-rich description, suggest a more robust and well-received app for this purpose. Without sufficient detail on Puco Checkout Rules, it's difficult to assess its suitability. Puco *might* be a better fit for merchants with *very* specific checkout customization needs that don't involve the range of AOV-boosting features offered by Opus, but this is only speculation.
If a merchant has a straightforward or very niche requirement for adjusting checkout rules *and* they don't care about the upselling and AOV boosting potential of Opus, then Puco might be worth exploring, provided more detailed information about its capabilities can be obtained. However, based on the available information, Opus offers a much more complete solution for merchants looking to actively optimize their cart and checkout process for increased revenue.
